MEET YAMINI

I run business storytelling workshops for leaders. I partner leaders to achieve results using the tools of business storytelling. I show leaders how they can use business storytelling techniques, tools and tips for professional success. ~ Yamini Naidu

When I was 10, my teacher asked us to write up a sentence that made sense, but the sentence could only be made up of ten words, and each word could only have 2 letters. We tried and we tried and came up with nothing. My teacher then wrote on the board “If it is to be, it is up to me”. That day my teacher influenced a classroom full of children to think and behave differently, not just in that moment but for the rest of their lives. It was my first lesson in influence and leadership and I was hooked!

I have studied leadership all my life, have taught it at RMIT university, have worked as a leader in corporate Australia for many years and as a thought leader in my own business for over ten years.

BEST SELLING AUTHOR

I am the author of 4 books. My latest book POWER PLAY: Game changing influence strategies for leaders published by John Wiley & Sons, April 2016. Power Play is a practical 21st century guide to mega-impact and influence, providing business leaders with explosive influence strategies to move people into action and results.

PURPOSE AND MISSION

My purpose is help leaders master business storytelling. I work with leaders giving them business storytelling tools so they can engage people and deliver commercial results. I call this amplifying leaders’ performance.

I also work with leaders on humour in business (leading with humour) and on inspiring presentations. All of these tools help us humanise workplaces.

I partner business leaders to create & sustain positive impact and achieve results. Results that leaves leaders, the people who work with them and the world a better place.

WORKING WITH PASSION

I am committed to social enterprise and support through pro bono work the High Resolves Global Citizenship and Leadership Programs. This program offers a three-year transformational experience for high school students in Years 8 to 10.

I also am committed to supporting and working with Pollinate Energy, a not for profit focused on energy access for poor people living in urban India.

I am also a voluntary guide at the National Gallery of Victoria.

ARE THEY A MASTER STORYTELLER?

You want to learn from a master storyteller. Consultants can be messy, mediocre or masterful. Get them to share a story and judge for yourself. Always learn from the best.
